Flowers, leaves, and life in your paper

Who doesn't love beautiful handmade paper with that pop of colour in it, especially when that colour is from petals, leaves or some natural texture?

Well achieving that result, the best tip I can give, is to make sure you always cover your petals, with a veil of pulp, before you couch your paper.

Many make a design of petals on their paper, and then turn it out, couching the paper, and whilst it will look beautiful wet, once dried, the petals can fall off... so a veil of pulp gently placed on the petals before the couching process is a must. You feel like you are covering them, don't worry, you will will see them, and they will stay in... happy paper making.
